FORMULATION DEVELOPMENT OF MOUTH DISSOLVING PRINTED FILM OF KETOROLAC AND IN VITRO EVALUATION

Objective: The present research work was carried out to prepare Ketorolac printed Oral Thin Films using a pneumatic pressure printer. In this research, we attempted non-contact printing system by pressure-based printer that incorporates of active pharmaceutical ingredients onto medical-grade Orodispersible film for developing personalized medication. Methods: the Trometamol used as model drug. Placebo substrate developed cellulosic polymers like HPMC, MCC, Neusilin, and starch impart paper-like properties are desirable printing. It evaluated various physicochemical disintegration time, mechanical strength, folding endurance, surface properties, etc. Polymers plasticizers were development drug loaded Printing ink. drug-printed films characterized in vitro dissolution. Results: Various film-forming substrates. F3 had desired i.e. thickness 0.157±0.003, tensile strength 0.331±0.016, within 60 seconds, also maintained its integrity after HPMC-based ink (I4) with polyethylene glycol modulating flow concentration 1.40%w/v selected among formulations. release from 98±1.94% 1 h. Conclusion: Through new technology limitation low dose loading associated ink-jet flexographic can be solved increasing ranges micrograms milligrams single pass print head.
